March

Today, Spring
is an effervescent wine.
Like a foam is the first green
on the great elms's bloomed wisps
where the seeds already falls
like diffuse rain.
Amongst the brimful and prodigal branches,
a goldfinch is pecking.
Green window shutters flash
on red facades
which the clear, merry wind
of March is cleaning.
All is a color of fields.
The ivy too is deluded,
the moss is greener
on the old, oblivious logs
which have no season.
Shaken by an immense breath
the city lives a day
of country humors.
Inebriated, springtime
runs in the blood.
