Che giovinezza nova, che lucidi giorni di gioia
per la cerula effusa chiarità de l'aprile
cantano le campane con onde e volate di suoni
da la città su' poggi lontanamente verdi! 
Da i superati inferni, redimito il crin di vittoria,
candido, radïante, Cristo risorge al cielo:
svolgesi da l'inverno il novello anno, e al suo fiore
già in presagio la messe già la vendemmia ride. 
Ospite nova al mondo, son oggi vent'anni, Maria,
tu t'affacciasti; e i primi tuoi vagiti coverse
doppio il suon de le sciolte campane sonanti a la gloria:
ora e tu ne la gloria de l'età bella stai,
stai com'uno di questi arboscelli schietti d'aprile
che a l'aura dolce dànno il bianco roseo fiore.
Volgasi intorno al capo tuo giovin, deh, I'augure suono

Plowing

In the field, where, rusty-red in the rows,
a few vine leaves shine, and from the thicket the morning fog seems smoke,

folk are plowing: with slow cries, one the slow cows pushes; one plants the seeds; one beats again the turfs with his patient hoe;

for the sparrow knows and his heart rejoices, from a mulberry's bristly branches he spies all on; and the robin: you can hear from the hedges
his delicate tinkling made of gold.

Al campo, dove roggio nel filare qualche pampano brilla, e dalle fratte sembra la nebbia mattinal fumare,

arano: a lente grida, uno le lente vacche spinge; altri semina; un ribatte le porche con sua marra pazïente;

Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin (Распутин, Григорий Ефимович), January 10, 1869 – December 29, 1916), was a controversial Russian mystic who influenced the latter days of the Russian Tsar Nicholas II, his wife the Tsaritsa Alexandra, and their only son, the Tsarevich Alexei.

"On the night of the burned man, blood will be shed and like a river will flow, in the Rome of the popes and of the swindlers. The people will go out into the squares blinded by a hatred that  for long time had been  long time smouldering, and on the blood-soaked pikes you will see the heads of politicians, nobles and clergy. The body of a venerable man will be dragged through the streets of Rome by a white horse and on the streets will remain the imprint of his blood and the edges of his skin. Only then will it be discovered that the venerable man was a snake. And he will die, as snakes die. In this night of blood and magic, the stars will change their light: those who wore the robe of delinquency will wear the robe of righteousness and those who were righteous will become unjust ... And when the light of the new day dawns, the fountains of Rome will be full of human blood, and many powerful bodies will be quartered and thrown to the four corners of the city, so that they rot apart ... Purified Rome will no longer be Rome. And the night of the burned man will remain to remember the holy insurrection of the people against the ravenous wolf dressed as a lamb."

Italian: "Nella notte dell’uomo bruciato, il sangue scorrerà a fiumi nella Roma dei papi e dei lestofanti. Il popolo uscirà sulle piazze accecato da un odio covato da tanto tempo e sulle picche lorde di sangue vedrete le teste dei politici, dei nobili e del clero. Il corpo di un uomo venerando sarà trascinato per le strade di Roma da un cavallo bianco e sulle strade rimarrà l’impronta del suo sangue e i lembi della sua pelle. Solo allora si scoprirà che l’uomo venerando era un serpente. E morirà come muoiono i serpenti. In questa notte di sangue e di magia le stelle cambieranno luce: quelli che indossavano l’abito della delinquenza indosseranno l’abito della giustizia e quelli che erano giusti diventeranno ingiusti...
